Art Day

Saturday the 11th of July 2026 – 10pm – 5pm

The meadows will be open to artists to draw, paint, or photograph, from their choice of location. We have some beautiful and exclusive spots to explore, so we hope you will come along.

Refreshments and facilities will be available at Rose Cottage, and you may come and go as you please throughout the day.

We have some folding chairs available, but please being all other equipment.

We ask for £10 per person, with all proceeds going directly to the Trust.
Under 18s are free of charge, with a paying adult.

Open Afternoons 2026

Saturday the 18th of July 2026 – 2pm – 5pm

Saturday the 15th of August 2026 – 2pm – 5pm

We will be holding our Rose Cottage Open Afternoons on the above dates.

Rose Cottage will be open, displaying our recently-updated information panels. Refreshments will be available, and guided tours of the Meadows will be offered.

On the 18th of July, there will be a demonstration by a pair of working heavy horses carrying out harrowing.

On the 15th of August, there will be a working sheepdog demonstration by our graziers, the Hawkes.
Both events will be weather-dependent.
