2026 Drownings

Saturday the 31st of January 2026 – from 10am

We will be flooding, or, “drowning” the meadows on the above dates.

Please arrive at Rose Cottage for 10am, where there will be a short introduction to the meadows and their history, followed by a tour of the meadows and a demonstration of the drowning.

Rose Cottage will be open, and refreshments and facilities will be available.

We advise walking boots or wellies, and dogs are allowed, but must be kept on leads. Parking is available in Middle Street, just round the corner in Harnham.
