Harnham Water Meadows
The Harnham Water Meadows are 84 acres of beautiful and historic land to the south west of Salisbury.
First documented in the early 17th century, the water meadows provided the grazing, hay, and craft materials that helped make Salisbury a prosperous market town.
Today the meadows are managed by the Harnham Water Meadows Trust; a group of volunteers who maintain and promote the meadows, and conserve the natural diversity of wildlife. The meadows are designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
We can provide guided tours, work days, artists' excursions, and meeting facilities with presentation and hospitality equipment.
We would love to hear from you, so please see the rest of the site for more information, and get in touch via the contact page or social media links, below.
