Working Parties

Members can take part in Working Parties to help with the restoration and maintenance of the meadows.
|
|
These are held once a month throughout the year. Working Parties take place from Feb - Apr at 9.30am on the second Saturday and from May - Sept at 4.30pm on the second Wednesday. No booking is required; just turn up at the start time at the Town Path, Mill Road, Salisbury. Wellington boots or stout footwear is needed. Tools can be provided. Everyone is welcome to help but no dogs or small children please.

The usual tasks include picking up litter, ragwort removal, control of nettles, brambles etc, weed clearance from the carriers, bonfires and clearance to reveal sluices before restoration.
